The building inspector shall not issue any homeless shelter facility license to any premises which:
A. Is in violation of any applicable provisions of the Wisconsin building, plumbing or electrical codes.
B. Does not comply with the city zoning ordinances concerning off street parking requirements.
C. Does not comply with the front yard parking ordinance as required by section 4-6-3 of this code.
D. Does not have smoke detectors installed and maintained in the following locations within the homeless shelter facility:
1. At the head of every open stair on each floor level;
2. At the door leading to every enclosed stair on each floor level, including the basement; and
3. In each sleeping area.
E. Does not have fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 3A40BC installed and available to all occupants within a walking distance of seventy-five (75) feet from any location within the homeless shelter facility. (Ord. 2013-20, 11-18-2013; Ord. 2019-19, 9-3-2019)
