Members of the urban forestry board shall serve in an advisory capacity to the plan commission and the building inspector during the process of approval of landscaping plans required pursuant to title 9, chapter 9 of this code, and of open space requirements for subdivisions pursuant to subsection 14-4-3 A of this code.
