§ 2.20.170 CITY COUNCIL DECISION AND FINDINGS.
   (A)   The City Council, following any appeal or other hearing on a planning item, although not necessarily at the same Council meeting, shall:
      (1)   Through the Mayor, announce its decision to approve, modify or deny the application or appeal; and
      (2)   Thereafter, adopt a resolution, ordinance or other form of decision which states the facts and reasons for the decision, any conditions or limitations thereon, and any and all findings required.
   (B)   Within ten days after adoption of the resolution, ordinance or other form of decision, a copy of it shall be mailed (United States mail, first class) to the applicant at the address shown on the application and to any other person who has filed a written request for the notification.
   (C)   At the same time, a copy shall be filed with the City Clerk and placed in the permanent Planning file.
   (D)   The decision of the City Council shall be final as of the date of adoption of the resolution or of the effective date of the ordinance.
