CLEAR WATER: Stormwater; natural precipitation; melting snow; groundwater; water flow from a roof, ground surface, subsurface drainage, downspout, eave trough, rainspout, yard drain, sump pump, foundation drain, yard fountain, pond, swimming pool, air conditioning condensate, cistern overflow, or any other water that is not required to be treated by state or federal law.
FRANCHISE OR LIKE KIND OF AGREEMENT: A written contract setting forth the terms and conditions under which the utility may operate or specifying the mutual obligations of the parties relative to the product or services to be furnished to persons or property within the city of Mendota Heights.
PRODUCT OR SERVICE: A utility furnishing electrical, natural gas, telephone, cable television, or municipal water to persons or property within the city of Mendota Heights.
UTILITY: Any public or private organization or entity that is providing a product or service to persons or property within the city for a monetary service fee or charge. (Ord. 359, 5-15-2001; amd. Ord. 496, 6-7-2016)
