A. Maintenance Of Numbering System; Records Kept: The code enforcement officer shall be responsible for maintaining the numbering system for the city and shall keep a record of all numbers assigned under this chapter.
B. Issuance Of Numbers: The code enforcement officer shall issue to any property owner upon request and without charge a number for each principal building or separate front entrance to such building. The code enforcement officer shall issue only the number assigned to such building under the provisions of this chapter; provided, however, that the code enforcement officer may issue additional numbers in accordance with the official numbering system whenever a property has been subdivided, a new front entrance opened, or undue hardship has resulted to any property owner.
