A. Causes Of Vacancy: Any of the following may cause the office of a member to become vacated:
1. Death;
2. Disability or failure to serve, as shown by failure to attend four (4) regularly scheduled meetings in any one calendar year;
3. Removal of residence from the city;
4. Resignation in writing; or (1981 Code 108 § 6)
5. Behavior deemed inappropriate by the city council. (Ord. 428, 3-16-2010)
B. Filling Vacancies: Vacancies shall be filled as soon as possible for the unexpired portion of the term by the mayor with the consent of the majority of the members of the city council. (1981 Code 108 § 6)
