A. "Unclaimed personal property", as used hereunder, includes any personal property stolen and recovered, abandoned, confiscated, or otherwise lawfully acquired by the city including, but not limited to, bicycles, automobiles, or parts thereof.
B. The date on which personal property comes into the possession of the city shall be the date upon which the city or any department of the city acquires actual physical possession or exercises dominion and control over such personal property. (1981 Code 912 § 5)
