7-2-1: CODE ADOPTED:
   A.   The current edition of the Minnesota State Fire Code, and any amendments thereto established and adopted from time to time by the Minnesota Commissioner of Public Safety, is hereby adopted as the Code of the City of Mendota Heights in the State of Minnesota. It regulates and governs the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling, and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices; from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises in the City of Mendota Heights as herein provided. Each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of the adopted Fire Code on file in the Office of the Fire Marshal are hereby referred to, adopted, and made part hereof, as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions, and changes in the following sections of this chapter. A copy of the Fire Code is maintained in the Office of the Fire Marshal or designee for examination and use by the public.
   B.   The following appendices are adopted:
      1.   Appendix E - Hazardous Materials.
      2.   Appendix F - Hazard Rankings.
      3.   Appendix G - Cryogenic Fluids-Weight and Volume Equivalents.
      4.   Appendix H - Hazardous Materials Management Plan.
      5.   Appendix I - Fire Protection - Non-Compliant Conditions.
