7-1-1: DEPARTMENT ESTABLISHED:
There is hereby established in the city a volunteer fire department. The volunteer fire department shall consist of a chief, an assistant chief, a fire marshal, and such number of firefighters as the city council from time to time shall authorize. (1981 Code 101 § 1)
