(A) Issuance of a certificate of compliance shall not constitute a guarantee of warranty of the habitability or complete compliance of the building or structure to code requirements and the occupant of any residential rental structure or residential rental unit shall not rely on any certificate as such guaranty or warranty. The certificate of compliance shall contain a notice to this effect.
(B) The city shall not assume any liability to any person by reason of the inspections required by this chapter or issuance of a certificate of compliance.
