Residential rental structures required to be registered pursuant to § 97.03 shall comply with the following provisions:
(A) All existing residential rental structures shall be registered 60 days after the adoption of this chapter.
(B) All newly constructed residential rental structures shall be registered prior to the issuance of the certificate of occupancy by the city.
(C) A residential rental structure which is sold, transferred, or conveyed shall be registered to the new owner within 30 days of the date of the deed, land contract, or other instrument of conveyance.
(D) All existing nonrental dwellings which are converted to residential rental structures shall be registered prior to the date on which the property is first occupied for rental purposes.
