All electrical work, including the placing of wires and other equipment, performed or to be performed in the City, shall conform to the Wisconsin State Electrical Code, adopted by the Industrial Commission of Wisconsin, 5th Addition, 1944, and the amendments and revisions adopted to date, which is hereby made by reference a part of this chapter.
