(A) The Chief of Police and the Director of Public Works shall have authority to place signs to regulate the parking of vehicles in areas of construction, road hazards, parade routes and other purposes for which parking of motor vehicles must be restricted in the interest of public safety.
(B) Police officers may enforce these transitory parking zones issuing citations that are equivalent to those used to enforce other City ordinance parking violations.
