Any person stipulating guilt or no contest under § 7.1.16 of this chapter must make the deposit required under Wisconsin Statutes § 345.26, or, if the deposit is not established under such statute, shall deposit a forfeited penalty as provided in the schedule established by the Chief of Police and approved by the Common Council. Deposits may be brought or mailed to the office of the Clerk of County Court or the City Clerk as directed by the arresting officer.
