Unless prior approval is obtained from the town, all lines from the main lines to the property serviced shall be contained within the property on which services are to be delivered. Where necessary, the obtaining and the cost of easements shall be the responsibility of the property owner seeking water services from the town. Outside tap connections must be assigned a specific service address and must remain under the original ownership and service address. If inherited or sold, it must retain the original service address and existing number of water connections. If not attached to a residence, it will be considered stock watering.
