§ 115.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ADDITIONAL SERVICE. Any communication service other than basic service provided under the system of the company including, by way of example but not limited to, burglar alarms, advertising, data or other electronic intelligence transmission, facsimile reproduction, meter reading and home shopping.
   BASIC SERVICE. The simultaneous delivery by the company to television receivers (or any other suitable audio-video communication receiver) to subscribers in the county of all signals required herein to be transmitted by the company.
   CHANNEL. A band of frequencies six megahertz wide in the cable electro-magnetic spectrum which is capable of carrying one audio-video television signal.
   COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION SYSTEM (CATV SYSTEM). The broadband communications facility to be constructed, operated and maintained by the company pursuant to this chapter.
   COMPANY. The person, firm, company or other business entity to which a non-exclusive franchise is granted.
   COUNTY. The County of McLean, acting through its Fiscal Court.
   COURT. The Fiscal Court of McLean County, Kentucky.
   FCC. The Federal Communications Commission of the United States.
   NON-EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE. The non-exclusive franchise defined herein.
   SUBSCRIBER. A purchaser of basic service (as herein defined) delivered over the CATV system.
