(A) The County Dispatch Committee shall prepare standard operating guidelines for all occurrences that constitute an environmental emergency, including emergency response, notification and prioritizing communication on the scene of such incident.
(B) The standard operating guidelines should include all applicable steps set forth by KRS 224.1-400(2) through (27) and KRS 224.1-405 along with applicable guidelines deemed necessary by the representative member organizations.
(C) County Central Dispatch shall act under the direct supervision of the county’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) if the occurrence is of the magnitude to warrant the declaration of a local state of emergency.
(D) The guidelines given under § 95.05 and this section shall become part of this chapter, as amended, after review by the County Dispatch Committee, LEPC and approved by Fiscal Court.
