§ 70.45 EXPENDITURE OF LICENSE FEE.
   (A)   By the tenth day of each month, the County Court Clerk shall remit license fees collected pursuant to the provisions of this subchapter, for the past month to the County Treasurer who shall credit the fees to the General Fund of the county.
   (B)   License fees collected shall be expended to reimburse the county for any costs associated with this subchapter, including, but not limited to, the administrative cost, the costs associated with enforcement by county agencies, including, but not limited to, the County Sheriff’s office. In addition, the funds shall be expended on the construction, alteration, maintenance or repair of county roads, signs, sidewalks or bridges, or any other structures or mechanism required in the regulation and control of motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic within the county. Any funds generated in excess of the above items in any given year shall be utilized in such manner as may be directed by Fiscal Court.
   (C)   Provided, however, the Clerk shall retain 4% of each license fee collected by him or her as compensation for issuing the license and sticker.
