(A) Solid waste to be stored in a manner prescribed by ordinance. The occupant or owner of every premise shall place all solid waste to be collected in proper solid waste containers, disposable or otherwise, and shall maintain such solid waste containers and the area surrounding them in a clean, neat and sanitary condition at all times. Solid waste shall be stored in a manner that will be kept free from insect and rodent infestation and will not create a fire hazard.

All uses which will generate more than a volume of two cubic yards (i.e., approximately equivalent to 500 pounds, a quarter ton or 400 gallons volume) of solid waste per week shall be required to provide bulk containers for storage as approved by the code enforcement officer. The containers shall be waterproof, leakproof and shall be covered at all times except when depositing waste therein or removing the contents thereof; and shall meet all the requirements herein under prohibited practices.
(C) Air tight containers. No owner or occupant of any structure may leave outside the structure, in a place accessible particularly to children, abandoned or unattended white goods (i.e., icebox, freezer, ice chests, refrigerator or other receptacle that has an airtight door) without first removing the door.
