§ 32.01 CEMETERY BOARD.
   (A)   There is hereby created the County Cemetery Board.
   (B)   The County Cemetery Board shall meet at least three times annually with meeting places being provided by the Fiscal Court.
   (C)   The Board shall have five volunteer members, who shall have lived in the county for at least one year prior to their appointment. Each member shall have demonstrated an interest in cemetery preservation, genealogy, local history or a related area.
   (D)   The Cemetery Board shall have no more than three of its members representing the same political party.
   (E)   Each appointment shall be for a term of four years, except for the initial appointment terms. With respect to the initial appointments, two members shall be appointed to a one-year term, two members shall be appointed to two-year terms and one member shall be appointed to a three-year term. The expiration of each of the listed terms, the appointments shall be for a four-year term.
   (F)   Members may serve more than one term.
   (G)   The membership shall elect a Chairperson who shall conduct meetings.
   (H)   All meetings of the Cemetery Board shall be subject to the commonwealth’s Open Meetings laws, being KRS 61.825 et seq.
   (I)   Any grant application proposed by the Board shall be subject to Fiscal Court approval.
