A. Prohibited In Commercial Zoning Districts:
1. No person shall ride a skateboard upon any sidewalk or highway located within any Commercial Zoning District within the City.
2. The Director of Public Works is authorized to have signs erected in such Commercial Zoning District prohibiting the riding of skateboards therein.
B. Park, Bike Paths Prohibited: No person shall ride or operate a skateboard within any City park or bike path, except at such places as may be designated by the Director of Parks and Recreation and then only in accordance with the rules, regulations and restrictions promulgated and posted.
C. Penalty: Any person, corporation, firm, or partnership found guilty of violating any provision of this chapter shall be fined according to the Fines and Penalties found in Title 15, Chapter 1: Fines and Penalties, and be responsible for the City's cost of prosecution, including reasonable attorney fees. Each day that a violation continues shall be considered a separate offense.
