The City license tag shall be placed and positioned to be clearly visible and maintained in a clearly legible condition and shall be placed on the front windshield in the lower right hand corner farthest removed from the driver’s position approximately one inch (1") from the right and lower edge of said windshield, except application of the metal tag issued to motorcycles, or motorized pedalcycles shall be made in a permanent manner to the rear license plate of such motorcycle or motorized pedalcycle so as not to obstruct any part of the number of such license plate.
