5-1-3: CONTAINER REQUIREMENTS:
   A.   Duty To Provide, Maintain: Refuse containers shall be provided by the owner, tenant, lessee or occupant of the premises. Refuse containers shall be maintained in good condition and any container which does not conform with the provisions of this chapter or that may have ragged or sharp edges or any other defect liable to injure the person collecting the contents thereof, shall be promptly replaced upon notice.

   B.   Construction Of Containers: Garbage containers shall be made of metal or approved plastic equipped with suitable handles and tight fitting covers, and shall be watertight.

   C.   Container Capacity: Garbage containers shall have a capacity of not more than thirty (30) gallons.

   D.   Sanitation: Garbage containers shall be of a type approved by the Director of Public Works and shall be kept in a clean, neat and sanitary condition at all times.

   E.   Rubbish Containers: Rubbish containers shall be of a kind suitable for collection purposes, and shall be of such weight that they can be handled by one person.
