§ 17.60.080 INSPECTIONS AND ACCESS.
   A.   Representatives of the MCSC and of any Federal, State and local unit of government are authorized to enter upon any land or water to inspect for development activity that is or appears to be regulated development.
   B.   Pursuant to the authority granted by 55 ILCS 5/5-1062, representatives of the MCSC may, after 10 calendar days’ written notice to the owner or occupant, enter upon any lands or waters within the County for the purpose of inspecting stormwater or flood hazard area facilities, structures, or areas. The MCSC representatives may cause the removal of obstructions to an affected watercourse.
   C.   The 10 calendar day notification requirement shall not apply in an emergency situation, as determined by the Enforcement Officer, or on any lands or waters that are the subject of an active stormwater management permit or permit application.
