The ZBA shall consist of seven (7) members appointed by the county board chairman with the advice and consent of the county board. Five (5) members shall serve respectively for the following terms: one for one year, one for 2 years, one for 3 years, one for 4 years, and one for 5 years. Two (2) additional board members shall serve for a term of five (5) years. The successor to any member so appointed shall serve for a term of five (5) years. All members shall serve until his or her successor is appointed. Vacancies shall be filled by the county board chairman with the advice and consent of the county board.
