When residents adjacent to a private road are desirous of upgrading their roadway so that the final bituminous (asphalt) surface can be constructed by McHenry County and the roadway accepted for maintenance by Township Highway Commissioner, the following minimum roadway standards and requirements must be met prior to the County approving the roadway for paving:
