509.08 CURFEW FOR MINORS.
   (a)   No person having the control and custody of, or being the parent or guardian of a minor under the age of eighteen years, shall knowingly permit such minor to, nor shall such minor, idle, loiter, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, other public place, places of amusement and entertainment, vacant lots or other unsupervised places between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and from and between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on each and every other day of the week; provided, however, that the provisions of the section do not apply to a minor accompanied by his parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor or where the minor is upon an emergency errand or business directed by his parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor.
   (b)   Any person under the age of eighteen who violates any provision of this section shall be apprehended and charged as being an unruly child and taken before the juvenile court of the County as provided in Ohio R.C. Chapter 2151.

   (c)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
