All employees of the Municipality who are called upon to serve on a jury or take reserve training in any of the Armed Forces of the United States shall be paid by the Municipality, for the period in which they are so engaged, the difference between what their normal pay would have been and the taxable income received while engaged on jury duty or on reserve training for the Armed Forces.
