161.06 HEALTH INSURANCE.
   (a)   For purposes of this section, a full-time employee means a person who is employed by the Municipality on a full-time basis, working a minimum of thirty-five (35) hours per week on a continuing basis and such employment is the employee’s full-time and principal occupation.

   (b)   A newly-hired or appointed employee shall be eligible for the particular health insurance plan in effect at the particular time he/she is hired or appointed if he/she meets the qualifications of subsection (a) hereof and if his/her employment is expected to continue on a continuous basis for a period of at least six (6) months.
   (c)   The present health insurance plan now in effect as authorized by Council shall remain in effect for eligible full-time employees until changed by Council and passage of this section shall not disrupt paid health insurance coverage for any full-time employee(s) who qualifies under subsection (a) hereof.    (d)   A reimbursement incentive program is hereby offered to and implemented for all full-time employees and all Village employees as designated by the Mayor and/or Council as follows:
      (1)   Those eligible for health insurance coverage are hereby reimbursed in the amount of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per month after the Clerk receives a signed, witnessed, and notarized waiver form; and
      (2)   Any employee choosing to opt out must provide the Village with a spousal certificate of coverage on an annual basis.
   This reimburse incentive program is offered to all full-time employees and all Village employees as designated by the Mayor and/or Council effective.
