153.02 LIFEGUARDS.

There are hereby created the positions of two part-time lifeguards in the Recreation Department. Each of the lifeguards shall be required to hold a senior lifesaving certificate.

The lifeguards shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of Council. The duties and hours of the lifeguards shall be prescribed by the Director of Recreation.
