(a) Positions for seven playground supervisors for the public park are hereby established. Their duties shall be for the park season commencing each year on or about June 1 and ending on or about September 5.
(b) One of the seven playground supervisors shall be the arts and crafts director who shall, in addition to the other duties provided herein, provide an arts and crafts program.
(c) The duties of the playground supervisors shall be the careful and conscientious supervision of the children using the playground during the hours which shall hereafter be set by the Mayor and/or Park Committee for the use of the playground, and the duties prescribed for them by the Recreation Director and such other duties as the Mayor and/or Park Committee shall from time to time direct.
(d) Playground supervisors shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of Council. (Ord. 1157-71. Passed 6-22-71.)
