(a) There is hereby created up to seven (7) officers within the McDonald Fire Fighter's Organization. The titles of these officers shall be a Fire Chief, and may further consist of:
(1) One (1) Assistant Fire Chief;
(2) Two (2) Captains; and
(3) Three (3) Lieutenants.
(b) The duties of such officers designated in subsection (a) hereof shall be those duties as are set forth in the Village Fire Fighter's manual or other duties as the Fire Chief, Mayor or Council shall direct from time to time.
(c) The chain of command of the officers of the McDonald Fire Fighter's Organization shall be according to the following sequence:
First in command Fire Chief
Second in command Assistant Fire Chief, if appointed
Third in command Captains, if appointed
Fourth in command Lieutenants, if appointed
(d) All officers shall be appointed from active members of the McDonald Fire Fighter's Organization. (Ord. 3125-12. Passed 12-19-12.)
