Every member of the Police Department except the Police Chief and except Special Policemen must be a resident of the Municipality at all times. The residency requirements for the Chief of Police are provided in Ohio R.C. 737.15. Newly hired Full-Time Officers have a grace period of 180 days from the date of their appointment to move into the Village and establish residency. (Ord. 2796-99. Passed 2-17-99.)
