(a) There is hereby established the position of Assistant Building Inspector who shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council and who shall work under the direction and supervision of the Mayor and Building Inspector. The position of Assistant 01Building Inspector shall be considered a part-time position.
(b) The duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Building Inspector shall be prescribed by the Mayor, Council and the Building Inspector and shall include, but not be limited to, the duties of inspection of Exterior Maintenance violations. The Assistant Building Inspector shall, in the absence of the Building Inspector, have the authority to act on behalf of the Building Inspector.
