913.02 TRIMMING BY MUNICIPALITY; COSTS A LIEN.
   In the event the owner or occupant neglects or refuses to trim or keep trimmed the branches of trees as provided in Section 913.01, the Municipality may, after ten days written notice to the owner or occupant of such abutting property, cause the trees to be trimmed and the Municipality shall charge the expense to the owner. If the amount is not paid it shall be certified by the proper Municipal official to the County Auditor and it shall be a lien upon the property and shall be collected as provided in the case of special assessments. The notice may be served by registered mail addressed to the owner or occupant of the premises by mailing it to the last known place of residence of such owner or occupant.
