(a) The Mayor pursuant to this chapter shall issue the license to engage in the business of or be employed as a massage technician in the Village upon receipt of an application, unless the Mayor finds that:
(1) The application does not contain all the required information or the application contains material misrepresentations, or
(2) The applicant has pleaded guilty to, or been convicted of any offense under Chapter 2907 Sex offenses of the Ohio Revised Code (or any similar statutes prior to the enactment of Chapter 2907) or of any similar statutes from any other jurisdiction.
(b) A massage technician license issued pursuant to this chapter shall terminate at the expiration of one year from the date of its issuance unless subject to suspension or revocation. (Ord. 2389-85. Passed 5-21-85.)
