§ 33.02  FIRE SERVICE AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES.
   (A)   The cost to the town of the township providing all required firefighting services and emergency medical services shall be that the citizens of the town and property located within the town will be taxed at the same rate as the citizens and property located in the township outside of the town’s incorporated boundaries, with no additional tax required being placed against the citizens or property for those services.
   (B)   The township agrees ten days prior to the commencement of the aforementioned services, that the township will provide a copy of the previous quarter’s operating expenses for the firefighting and EMS services of the township, a complete inventory of all apparatus and equipment owned and/or operated by the township or its representatives, that hereafter on a quarterly basis, the township shall provide to the town quarterly statements of all operating expenses and shall annually, on or before July 1 of each year, provide a complete and current inventory of all apparatus and equipment owned by the township and/or operated by the township’s representatives.
   (C)   The township agrees that the town shall have a representative to be included in township budget discussions and determinations each year and shall act as an ad hoc member of the budget committee for the township in addition to which the town shall provide to the town, within five days after preparation, all proposed budgets and completed budgets annually as approved by the Vernon Township Board.
   (D)   The town and the township agree that the working relationship outlined above shall continue in full force and effect until terminated in writing by either party; however, the termination notice must be delivered to the non-terminating party by January 1 of the year prior to the termination to allow both entities to make the necessary budgetary adjustments.
