All sidewalks shall be constructed to conform to the curb grade in all cases on streets where the grade has been established by the Village Administrator and the sidewalk bed shall have a rise back from the curb to the abutting lot line at a rate not to exceed three-eighths inch to a foot. When a rate of rise greater than this is desired, permission shall be obtained from the Village Administrator for the additional rise.
