9.6.01: DESIGN STANDARDS:
The following design standards shall be incorporated in any plat, subdivision, development or dedication, and each of the requirements hereinafter set forth shall be considered mandatory unless the particular provision indicates to the contrary.
   (A)   Subdivisions Unsuitable For Development: In order to promote the safety, general health, welfare and livability of the community and future residents, the city may find that certain portions of the subdivision are unsuitable for development because of risk of flooding, poor drainage, steep slopes, rock formations, or other features, and shall not be developed unless adequate methods approved by the city are planned for overcoming these conditions.
   (B)   Construction Standards Adopted: The city of McCall hereby adopts specifications and details of the latest edition of the "Idaho Standards For Public Works Construction", or as amended by resolution, as standards for construction. These standards are augmented by general addenda, approved by resolution of the council as necessary, to ensure uniform material selection and construction practice for those items specific to the city of McCall and area of city impact.
   (C)   PUD; Density Transfers And Bonuses: Density transfers and density bonuses may be approved through a planned unit development in accordance with title III, chapter 10 of this code, and the applicable provisions of this title.
   (D)   Expenditure Of Public Funds: Nothing in this title shall ever be construed to require the city to expend public funds not budgeted and appropriated for any subdivision improvement. (Ord. 822, 2-23-2006, eff. 3-16-2006)
