6-2-130:   UNAUTHORIZED CONNECTIONS - MISDEMEANOR:
When water has been shut off from any premises, either upon the application of the owner thereof, or for nonpayment of water charges, or for any other cause, it shall be a misdemeanor for any person to again connect such premises with the City water supply system except when specifically authorized so to do by the Public Works Director. The Public Works Director may cause the water to be shut off at the main, or may remove a portion of the service connection in the street. In addition to the penalty provided in the McCall City Code for violations of its provisions, the Public Works Department may charge to and collect from the owner of the premises so illegally connected, the whole cost of the disconnection and the reconnection, and a penalty in the amount set from time to time by the City Council by resolution for shutting off and turning on the water, the whole of such penalty and charges to be paid before the water is again turned on.
