(A) Words used in the present tense shall include the future tense, and the future the present.
(B) The singular number shall include the plural number and the plural number the singular number.
(C) “Building” includes the word “structure.”
(D) “Shall” is mandatory and not directory.
(E) “May” is permissive.
(F) Any words not defined as follows shall be construed in their generally accepted meaning as defined in the most recent publication of Webster’s New World Dictionary, College Edition.
