Every contractor as herein defined desiring to engage in business in the village shall execute and file with the Village Clerk a bond payable to the village in the penal sum as outlined in § 110.30, with sureties to be approved by the Mayor and the Village Board and filed with the Village Clerk, and conditioned upon the applicant faithfully observing all of the provisions of the Building Code and other ordinances and regulations of the village relating to the business conducted by the contractor; and conditioned further to indemnify and hold harmless the village against any cause or act upon which it may suffer or which may occur against it or any cause of action that may be charged to or recovered by the village from or by reason of any act by any such person or by any agent or employee thereof.
