(A) (1) The fee for a business license shall be $25 and shall be paid in advance to the Village Clerk at the time of application.
(2) The registration fee as set forth therein is nonrefundable.
(B) Provisions concerning the business license application are as follows.
(1) A fee of $25 is a onetime fee for new applicants in the village. Current business would be asked to fill out the application for village records but no fee charged.
(2) A business license is good for the life of the business or until change of ownership.
(3) All businesses would be issued a business license certificate to be displayed within the business in an easily seen location.
(4) An ordinance (this subchapter) has been passed authorizing the issuance of business licenses.
(5) Inspection would be done for new business at the time of application. The inspector is appointed by the President of the village.
