§ 74.04 OPERATION.
   All golf carts within the village must operate as follows.
   (A)   Each passenger must be in a seat and only one passenger per seat is permitted;
   (B)   Golf carts are not permitted to tow additional vehicles or items behind their vehicle (trailer, wagon, cart and the like);
   (C)   Must obey all traffic laws of this state and the village;
   (D)   Golf carts shall not be operated in inclement weather, nor when visibility is impaired by weather, smoke, fog or other conditions; or at any time when there is insufficient light to clearly see persons and vehicles on the roadway at a distance of 500 feet;
   (E)   A person who drives or is in actual physical control of a golf cart on a roadway while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs is subject to 625 ILCS 5/11-500 through 11-502;
   (F)   All drivers of a golf cart shall comply with and be responsible for obeying all laws, rules and regulations as may be amended from time to time, specifically including the compiled statutes with regard to the State Child Protection Act with the proper use of seatbelts and/or child safety seats (625 ILCS 5/12-603.1); and
   (G)   All drivers of a golf cart shall comply with and be responsible for obeying all laws, rules and regulations as may be amended from time to time, as set forth in the State Vehicle Code (being 625 ILCS 5/).
