§ 71.61 ACCIDENTS.
   It shall be unlawful for the driver of a vehicle which has collided with any vehicle, person or property, in such as manner as to cause injury or damage, to fail or refuse to stop immediately, to render such assistance as many be possible, to give his or her true name and residence to the injured person or the owner of the property damaged, and to a police officer if one is present. A report of each such accident shall be given by the driver of each vehicle concerned in it to the police within 24 hours after the accident.
