§ 93.09 ANIMALS PROHIBITED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or allow to be kept within the Village any farm animals, such as sheep, cattle, goats, horses, ducks, geese, chickens, roosters or other poultry, swine (including pot-bellied pigs), or similar animals. It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or allow to be kept within the Village any naturally wild animals, including boa constrictors, poisonous snakes or other poisonous reptiles. Fish, birds other than poultry and non-poisonous reptiles, and zoological parks, performing animal exhibitions, educational institutions, veterinary hospitals or animal shelters are excepted from this provision. Dogs and cats are allowed subject to the permitting and other requirements of this chapter and the code.
