§ 34.01 DECLARATION OF POLICY.
Since it is the policy of the United States government to insure the maximum participation of all available workers in production, regardless of race, creed, color, national origin or ancestry, in the firm belief that the democratic way of life within the nation can be defended successfully only with the help and support of all groups within its borders, including the Village, by eliminating possible discrimination in public and private employment, the Board of Trustees of the Village, in furtherance of this democratic objective, enacts this chapter to be known as the “Fair Employment Practices Ordinance.”
