(A) Within 14 days following the receipt of the request for site location approval, the Village President, with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees shall appoint a Hearing Officer to serve during any public hearing concerning an application for site location approval. The Hearing Officer shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Trustees. Compensation for the services of the Hearing Officer shall be agreed upon between the Hearing Officer and the Board of Trustees before a hearing. The duties of the Hearing Officer shall be as provided for herein and in the rules and procedures.
(B) All meetings and hearings on the siting application shall be at the call of the Hearing Officer at such times as maybe required.
