(A) There are created the offices of the Chief of the Fire Department, 3 Lieutenants and 39 firefighters and such additional offices of the Fire Department as may be, from time to time, provided for in the annual appropriation ordinance.
(B) Before entering upon the duties of their respective offices, each officer shall execute a bond to the Village in the amounts hereinafter set forth: the Chief of the Fire Department, $500; Lieutenant of the Fire Department, $250; firefighter, $200.
