§ 30.07 DEPARTMENT HEADS, RESIDENCY.
   (A)   All persons appointed to serve or employed by the Village as the head of a department of the Village government are required and shall continue to be required to reside within the corporate boundaries of the Village or within a 15-mile radius of the corporate boundaries of the Village throughout the term of their office or length of employment as a department head.
   (B)   The residency requirement of this section shall not apply to those persons who supply services to the Village on a limited contractual basis who are actually in the employ of another governmental unit and/or private entity.
   (C)   Any person holding a position as a department head with the Village who is not a resident of the Village on the date of the enactment of this section shall be required to establish residency in the Village within 60 days therefrom.
   (D)   Any person appointed or employed to serve as a department head who at the time of his appointment or employment is not a resident of the Village shall be required to establish residency within the Village not later than 90 days from the first date that he is appointed to or employed in the position of a department head.
   (E)   Noncompliance with the residency requirements set forth in this section by any department head of the Village shall constitute grounds for immediate dismissal. The Village Manager is hereby directed to invoke such penalty of immediate dismissal or to take such action as is necessary to bring about dismissal upon failure to comply with the terms prescribed in this section.
   (F)   All requirements set forth in the Village of Maywood Personnel Manual, except where they conflict with the terms of this section, are in full force and effect.
